The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris is aimed at European graduates from film schools or other relevant courses of study. Applicants should already have acquired some professional experience in the film industry to serve as a foundation to this intensive and specific training course on film production and distribution from a European perspective.

 

The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris opens up to non-European candidates in order to support young non-European professionals who intend to work mainly in Europe and therefore aim at gaining or improving their abilities or competence.

 

Candidates should be under 30 and must have a good knowledge of either French or German.

 

German applicants should send their applications to the Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, French applicants should submit their applications to La fémis in Paris.
Applicants from other EU countries may submit their application to either La fémis or the Film Academy, depending on their language skills.

If their initial application is not successful, applicants may submit one further application to participate in Atelier.

The deadline for applications for the course 2014/2015 is May 31st 2014 (La fémis).

Extended Deadline (Filmakademie): Applications are now being accepted until June, 11th 2014 (only Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg)!
